Cape Cod Pool Orleans MA
The pool design for this residential home was created to work seamlessly with a newly constructed barn that doubles as a pool house. The intent is for the landscape to work seamlessly with the exterior living space. Site lines from the interior of the structure provide a view of the home, terrace and pool. The homeowner requested a simple modern design with a minimal number of plants. Dry laid bluestone with thyme joints was used for the terrace. The property is bordered by a privet hedge which will be sheared once the plants mature. The fence was designed in keeping with the aesthetic of the barn and doubles as a pool enclosure. This understated landscape design was created to compliment Peter McDonald Architects barn.
